The Zutons é uma banda de rock alternativo originada em Liverpool, Inglaterra, no ano de 2001. O nome veio do guitarrista do "The Magic Band", que era conhecido como Zoot Horn ou Zuton.
Inicialmente a banda foi muito comparada a "The Coral", outra banda inglesa que estava fazendo considerável sucesso neste mesmo periodo, por terem o mesmo produtor, integrantes da mesma cidade e até as mesmas influências musicais, sendo algumas destas: Talking Heads, Devo e Madness. Mas logo perceberam que no som, as semelhanças entre as bandas não eram tão evidentes.
Em 2007 Boyan Chowdhury anunciou sua saída, justificando "diferença musical", sendo assim a formação atual é: Dave McCabe (Voz e Guitarra), Abi Harding (Saxofone), Russell Pritchard (Baixo) e Sean Payne (Bateria).
A banda propõe uma mistura do rock tradicional de sua terra, como The Beatles eRolling Stones, e com o rock atual, como Franz Ferdinand e The White Stripes.
