Slut é uma banda de Rock Alternativo/Indie Rock de origem alemã, formada porChristian Neuburger (Voz e Guitarra), Matthias Neuburger (Bateria),Rainer Schaller (Guitarra) e Gerd Rosenacker (Baixo), fundada no ano de 1995. Após a gravação de seu primeiro álbum, Rene Arbeithuber (Teclado, Voz e Guitarra) se junta à banda.
No período entre 1997 à 1998, a banda viveu e fez gravações em um castelo próximo de Ingolstadt com Rene e a Rainer's Band, "Pelzig".
Em fevereiro de 2005, participaram do concurso Bundesvision Song Contest, tocando a canção "Why Pourquoi?" (Pourquoi significa "Porquê" em francês). Receberam alguns votos e terminaram na décima segunda posição, dentre os 16 competidores.
Após, fizeram algumas apresentações na Inglaterra e Estados Unidos, depois partiram para uma turnê pela Europa, passando pela Roménia, República Tcheca, Itália e França.
